About
Gina brings over 35 years of experience advising clients on trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property matters. Also, as a veteran corporate attorney with a litigation background, she offers sound guidance to start-ups and small to mid-sized companies on general business matters.
Entrepreneurs and businesses from diverse industries turn to Gina for expertise in trademark and copyright law. She has extensive experience with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, handling clearance, filing, and prosecution of trademark applications. Additionally, Gina represents clients in copyright disputes, including defending hospitality businesses against Cable Act violation claims.
Beyond intellectual property, Gina serves as trusted outside counsel for regional business owners, advising on entity formation, real estate, employment matters, and mediating disputes. She also provides opinion letters for EV-SSL website security certificates.
Committed to excellence in the legal profession, Gina has served on Maryland's Peer Review Committee for the Attorney Grievance Commission for nearly two decades and has taught business ethics and intellectual property law at the University of Maryland University College.
Outside of the law, Gina enjoys spending time with her husband and their two “clowns” as she calls her mixed-breed Chihuahua Pomeranian and her happy-go-lucky Dalmatian, both rescues and the best of friends despite a fifty-pound difference in size. Gina also enjoys weightlifting, home decorating, Feng Shui, thrift shopping, and property rehab.
