About

For nearly forty years, Mark has been the go-to advisor for companies, business owners, executives, and nonprofits of all sizes, especially during times of change. He is deeply committed to supporting causes that improve the health and well-being of the region. Mark brings a hands-on approach, practical know-how, and energy to every project.

At the heart of Mark’s work is helping established private companies make big decisions and handle important transactions like mergers, acquisitions, financing, and succession planning. He’s the one companies rely on for guidance through complex deals that align with their goals.

Mark’s support does not end with a single transaction. Having devoted decades to helping private companies grow over time, he strives to protect and advance his clients’ interests at every stage of their development. A sign of his enduring commitment to client service, he serves on the boards of numerous organizations, including a large manufacturer and several non-profit organizations, and has previously served on the board of the region’s largest healthcare system and captive insurance company.

Mark also serves as outside general counsel for private companies, helping them tackle legal and business challenges in areas of corporate law, intellectual property, real estate, and employment. He understands the work it takes to build a business. Today, he is committed to supporting Maryland entrepreneurs and small business owners, including serving on the board of a Baltimore biotech start-up.

As a co-founder of Jensen & McComas, Mark oversees all the firm’s transactional work. Recognized as “preeminent” by a top peer survey and recently named to The Daily Record’s Leaders in the Law list, Mark is also dedicated to pro bono work for several nonprofits, including the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation.

When he’s not busy with clients or nonprofits, Mark’s energy extends to foster parenting, Taekwondo, motorcycle racing, and high-performance driving.
