Cece Gans and La'Tika D. Howard Making Their Mark

We are pleased to celebrate two of our younger attorneys who have been doing exceptional work this year. Cecelia “Cece” Gans and La’Tika D. Howard both continue to make their mark on the Maryland business community by growing their corporate practice and contributing to the Jensen & McComas corporate team, which is recognized in the newly released edition of Chambers USA. 

Cece Gans

Cece maintains a diverse practice that spans estate and trust planning, commercial transactions, leasing, intellectual property matters, and mergers and acquisitions. She regularly advises business owners on both personal and business matters and serves as outside general counsel to privately held companies, providing practical guidance on a wide range of operational and strategic issues. An active member of the MSBA Estate and Trust and Business Law Sections, Gans also serves on the board of Cornerstone Community Housing, a non-profit dedicated to supporting men experiencing homelessness. La'Tika D. Howard

La’Tika works closely withentrepreneurs, emerging companies, investors, and privately held businesses, guiding clients through all phases of the business lifecycle—from formation and financing to growth, acquisitions, and succession planning. In addition, she serves as trusted outside general counsel to a variety of businesses, helping leadership teams to navigate strategic opportunities and day-to-day legal challenges. Last year, Howard was appointed to serve as the MSBA Business Law Section’s Young Lawyer Representative. She also received a 2025 Leading Women Under 40 Award from The Daily Record in recognition of her professional achievements and service to the community.
